Gallbladder? Liver? Stomach? What could this be?

Question: Okay ever since December 18th I've had a number of symptoms that have either continued till now or gone here's a list. -nausea(extreme in mornings, nights, after any kind of physical activity or fast movements, after eating junkish foods, after drinking soda) -headaches(moderate to severe in pain. Constant) -breathing trouble(shortness of breath from simple things such as walking for periods of time like I can't catch my breath) -abdominal pain(mostly on right side inside of rib cage or sometimes close to opening. Pain is moderate to severe at times other times is dull and achy but constant especially after eating or emotional stress or any kind if physical activity) -swelling in stomach region of the abdomen(feels hard in that region) -sometimes chest pain in breasts or deeper under sternum(dull or achy sometimes stabbing) -on December 18th I had a bright pink watery period which isn't normal for my periods and haven't had one since(not pregnant cause I've taken 2 tests both negative) -extreme cramping in lower abdomen during that period that made it uncomfortable to move(I don't ever cramp during periods either) -one day recently I had severe stabbing pain on my right side when I sat on my bed. It was under my ribs sorts but at the bottom or close to the bottom at least and after a few mins I got nausea and then felt n tasted slight little bit of blood of the back of my tongue and then it went back down. Then extreme fatigue -weight loss(sudden. Unintentional.) -back pain(wakes me up at night very painful. In the middle to lower back) -extreme fatigue constant -NO vomitting, NO blood in stool of vomit, NO constipation, NO diarrhea -pain in ears(behind them from headaches in sure) -easy bruising that last long time mostly on my legs -change in appetite(not as hungry but when I eat I feel like I can't get full or am too full after only tiny bits of food. Foods I used to like now disgust me with the smell) -nausea after eating -pain on right of belly button Also the pain near belly button happened once or twice recently. My only bowel issue lately is that I have to poop more(sorry tmi) but Im not constipated n and it's not hard to get out I have no burning with my urine either and it's not discolored just a btw..and I also had cramping several weeks after that period that lasted everyday Also the pain near belly button happened once or twice recently. Answer: I have almost all of the same symptoms you have. I've undergone so much testing, and we only know a small piece of the story. In my case, I have nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. You could be different, you could be the same, but the only way you'll know if by going to the doctor and having a bunch of tests done. By the way, it definitely sounds like your liver is causing at least some of the problems to me.

I have all the flu symptoms except for the high fever...am I supposed to be worried or not?

Question: I've been vomiting and having headaches, muscle & joint pain, back pain, cough, runny nose and basically I've been feeling very weak.. but I haven't been having high fevers...my temperature is basically within the normal range...but I've also been feeling sudden 'chills' (I'm not sure if that's how I should call it) Like a sudden cold spell that makes me shiver for a little while and then it's gone. I've been feeling worse, especially because I couldn't eat almost anything. Not that I WOULDN'T. I just can't. All the food, that I normally would crave for, just tastes and smells disgusting. I still like looking at the food though, I feel hungry sometimes, but then when I try to eat, it's as if my chest tightens and makes me feel like I'm about to puke. I've been to the doctor three times already, but all he says is, drink this, drink that, must be a flu, just come back next time. It's killing my wallet...so I thought I should come here. I just hope I get an answer, so my mum's suspicion of dengue or smth life-threatening as that would either be confirmed or totally flipped (which would make me really happy) Thank you for your help. Btw, my body temperature is below normal. It's 34.3 C / 93.7 F ....why is that so? I really don't understand... I did just go back to school, last week. But I've been coughing before school started. I missed 5 days of school now. I don't know but this morning, when I was still on the bed, I felt that my heartbeat was fast...and I couldn't say that I had a bad nightmare. I'm basically a dreamless sleeper these days. But whenever I go to the doctor, like yesterday (AGAIN), my blood pressure and my resting heart rate is normal. At home...I can FEEL that it's not. Maybe I'm paranoid or smth. But I know smth is wrong.

Answer: This is something almost impossible to diagnose over the internet, but I wouldn't worry quite yet if your vitals are okay (resting heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, etc.) and haven't fluctuated. You could have a food-born illness. The symptoms match that, but they also match many other things; like, for example, being severely hungover or dehydrated will do the same. In all likely-hood, though, if you don't have a temperature, it's probably just a really bad cold. If it shows no signs of receding in a few days, you might want to see the doctor again just to be safe. Did you just start going back to school? Most people acquire bad colds when they are in close proximity to a bunch of strangers all of the sudden after a break. Fluid consumption is important, though, no matter what it is.
