morning sickness 3 dpoSleep Forum - Questions & AnswersAm I pregnant? 10 dpo, morning sickness, negative test?Question: My period is 3 days late and I woke up this morning feeling extremely nauseous, I even threw up. I didn't think I was pregnant until this morning sickness happened. I am around 9-10 dpo. I took a dollar store pregnancy test and it came out negative...I just don't understand why I was so sick this morning if I am not pregnant. I don't have any cramps or AF-type symptoms, just this horrible nausea in the mornings. Could I be pregnant? Did I test too early? Please - unbiased answers only.Answer: Was it a Dollar Tree test? Dollar Tree is supposed to be the most sensitive. 10dpo may be a little early, depending on when you implanted. Also, if your urine was dilute or if it wasn't the first morning urine you may not have had enough HCG in there to spark a positive. Conversely, some women don't get positives on first morning urine and get them later in the day. I don't know if you want to make yourself crazy testing a lot, but you can try again tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening to see what happens. ![]() morning sickness at 3 1/2 weeks pregnant?!?Question: I found out I was pregnant at 10 dpo and now its 12 dpo and I am exhausted and NAUSEOUS. I've already felt the urge to throw up (but I didnt). Why is this happening so early???? Anyone had this? How long did it last? I'm not even officially pregnant according to all the sites online because my period was July 4th and Im not yet 4 weeks pregnant but I feel TERRIBLE :(Answer: Your hormones could be hitting you really hard, or because you know you are pregnant you are thinking about it a lot which is bringing on symptoms. Very normal and nothing wrong with it. There is also the possibility that you are slightly further along than originally thought (it's normal, I ended up being a week and 2 days further along at what I thought was a 13 week ultrasound). Just start treating your body like it's pregnant now, it will help. Make sure you are eating light snacks (keeping a full tummy actually helps with morning sickness), drink plenty of water and remember your vitamins. Congrats, all pregnancy's are different so you could be experiencing symptoms earlier than most. ![]() |
