implantation pinching 5 days past ovulation

Sleep Forum - Questions & Answers

TTC, but can't be sure if i am experiencing implantation bleeding or ovulation. someone help! ?

Question: I haven't been on BC for over 3 years. My system is always off the wall when it comes to AF, for Sept. to Oct. my cycle was 42 days, Oct. to Nov. was 28 days. Date of last AF was 11/12/08 and my OV calendar said my time frame was 11/22 - 11/27 for baby making. so i had relations w/ my husband on 11/18, 11/22, and 11/26 (a friend said sperm can live inside you for 3 to 5 days)...i started having a brownish discharge (only when i wiped) on 11/28 and was tired for 3 days straight.it is now 12/3 and i have been having the same brown, jelly-like CM discharge "once" in the morning (only when i wipe) since 12/1 (today had a few specks of pink n' red when i wiped a 2nd time) with light AF like cramps on and off for like 5 days. the cramps have been going from side to side, feeling like pinches and twinges, and sometimes feel like they reach up to my belly-button. I usually can down a giant mug of coffee in the a.m., but lately i can only make it through a regular teacup size. And as soon as i get up in the a.m. in the past few days, i have to pee ALOT. I can't be sure, with the way my cycles are, if i am done ovulating and i am experiencing implantation bleeding or if i am ovulating now. According to my calendar,my AF is due 12/10 and I would really like to hope that i might be preggo but dont want to get my hopes up and trick my mind into thinking i have all these symptoms. Can anyone help me out?

Answer: i think it sounds a lot more like implantation bleeding than ovulation bleeding. girl it sounds like you might have done it!! and if you did, you should be able to get your positive test in about 4 days. good luck, and lots of baby dust. p.s. please keep us posted!!

Many questions from a 1st time pregnant mum to be!?

Question: Notes: I'm 23 days past my LMP. 1) I'm reading some pregnancy stuff.. and it says you get implantation bleeding in your third week, although I read it can be 14 days. I got mine at 17 days. Is this okay? (It was pink and brown spotting but I had a little bright red bleeding. 2) I know I'm pregnnat, but I'm cramping, may be ovulation? It has occured on both sides today. This is confusing me, because I didn't think you ovulated when you were already pregnant? 3) Is it harmful to do sit ups while pregnant? 4) How much coffee is too much for a baby? 5) How many extra kcals are you meant to eat while pregnant? 6) When I get all my cramps, is it okay to just take paracetemol/iburofen? 7) Is it usual for your boobs to itch.. but also feel like they're being pinched at occasionally? 8) Do you sweat more? Sorry for so many questions! Any help will be thanked for.

Answer: 1. yes as long as there is no cramping or sharp pain. Also implantation bleeding should not last longer than a few days 2. You will not ovulate while you are pregnant. It could be bloating or constipation both of which are common in pregnancy especially in the first trimester. If you are having sever cramping or sharp pains OR if you see red blood at all or any type of blood for more than a day or so you need to see your Dr. Also have you been in to you first OB appointment. Now is the time to go 3. If you were doing sit ups before you should be fine. There will come a point when you will not physically be able to do it any more but as long as your heart rate stays low it is safe to do moderate exercise. This is also a question to ask your OB because everyone is different. Like for me I am a marathon runner and was for years before I got pregnant with my twins. I ran a marathon at 6 months and I felt great. However if you are not a marathon runner you should not start while pregnant 4. If possible it is best to have no coffee but a cup a day should not be horrible. Again this is something that will depend on your particular circumstances. If you are deemed a high risk pregnancy it may be best for you to have no caffeine. But under normal circumstance one cup should be fine...Oh and if you are drinking decaf you can have as many as you want just be prepared for potential heart burn 5. You should just take prenatal vitamins. Most prenatal have everything you and your baby will need for the next 8ish months. beyond that you should eat smaller meals more times a day and increase your caloric intake by no more than 500 calories a day unless you have been instructed to gain weight. A common mistake women make is thinking that because they are eating for two that can eat what ever they want. and if that is you plan more power to you. But the more unnecessary weight you gain the longer it will take you to lose it. Also by eating a ton of junk foods you will be at a higher risk for gestational diabetes and putting your baby at risk for health problems in the future. This does not mean you cannot eat icecream or chips, but keep it in moderation. 6. NO NO NO ibuprofen is very bad and can cause bleeding the only thing you can take for headaches and what not is Tylenol in moderation! for other things like colds and what not there are a few other meds you can take but for the most part the golden medication rule is unless the benefits of taking the medication significantly outweigh the risks to you and your baby then the meds should be avoided. An example of this is certian anti-depressants, such as Zoloft. In some cases there are greater risks associated with quickly pulling a pregnant woman off Zoloft than the potential risk the drug would have on the fetus (which studies have found to be minimal at most) 7. sure. itching is totally normal and if you feel pinching then I am sure that is nothing to worry about. I did not experience that but every woman is different as is every pregnancy 8. I did not sweat more since I was pregnant during the winter but I think I was hotter then I normally am during that time of year. Your hormones are raging and you will be carrying around extra weight.
